1821 Coffee Fusion was born from family, faith, and a shared love for creating something that gives back to the community.
Our story begins with our parents — both pastry chefs — whose dream was to build more than just a business. They wanted to create a space where generosity, culture, and community could come together. That dream became 1821.

The name 1821 carries deep meaning. It celebrates not only the independence of many Latin American countries but also the year Texas began its own path to independence — a time when cultures began to blend and boundaries started to shift. For us, it represents freedom, celebration, and connection.

Our roots trace back to El Salvador, where coffee has always been part of who we are. Our mother has been a coffee lover her entire life, and our grandfather spent over 45 years working in the coffee industry — managing mills, overseeing production, and passing down invaluable knowledge about every bean. That legacy lives in every cup we serve and every dessert we handcraft through our brand, KÜPZ.

1821 Coffee Fusion is a family-owned and operated business, run with love and dedication by a Salvadoran family that now calls Texas home. We blend the flavors, warmth, and authenticity of El Salvador with the hospitality and bold spirit of Texas — creating a unique fusion where everyone belongs.

Here, it doesn’t matter where you come from, what you do, or what you’re going through. This is a place filled with happiness, peace, and authenticity — a safe space where you can simply be yourself, surrounded by good coffee, good people, good handmade desserts, and good energy.

“Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers, for by so doing some people have shown hospitality to angels without knowing it.” Hebrews 13:2
